A Day In My Life….
7am Awake. Grab Laptop from beside bed. Start in on virtual paperwork i.e. load photos, update slide shows, email etc.
9am Gabrielle awakes, bring her in bed with me and nurse her while balancing laptop on knee in the air. Yes, it is a Cirque du Soliel moment….lol
9:45am Go downstairs w/ Gabrielle after changing diaper, mandatory kisses, clothing change etc. Bring laptop, type with one hand while bouncing Gabrielle on one knee. Slobbery kisses mixed in.
Gabrielle plays with “Cat!” various toys, and intermittent mommy kisses/hugs.
I feverishly try to figure out the glitch in the gallery. Realize I am SO lost email Cicily of August Afternoon Designs for help. (She is amazing!)
Work on computer while I watch Gabrielle, feed her banana snack, and get slobbery banana-filled kisses until 12:45pm. All in front on hte computer. Breastfeed Gabrielle intermittently while naking with one hand! (You’d be surprised how fast I can go now. ;))
12:50 call Grandmom to say I will not make out 1pm Target goal, can we push it to 2pm.
12:55 Gabrielle is in the tub (about 8 hours early) she took off her sock and smooshed banana in her toes while in her exersaucer. Banana covers us both from head to toe. Dress Gabrielle, pack diaper bag. Rinse diapers, throw laundry in, switch it around. Shower, dress— out the door by 2pm
2pm At Target with Grandmom (78), Great Grandmom (98 - or 97 I forget) and Gabrielle. I realize they have NEVER BEEN! I am shocked and amazed. Grab lunch.
Eat lunch.
Take Grandmom to Walgreens for Prescription pick-up.
5pm Home! Links on emails aren’t working! Nurse Gabrielle on one knee while emailing, and figuring out links. Working on things until 7:30.
7:45pm Drop Gabrielle at Grandmom’s down the block. Come back and vegetate on DS for a while. Answer random emails.
9pm Gabrielle comes home. I nurse her put her to bed. Zone out in front of the 10pm news. Throw laundry in. Decide to try RLR Water Treatment on my dipes. (It smells like Bio-Kleen Bac Out. Yummo!) Switch Laundry around.
11pm Back at the computer shooting emails here and there. Calculating this and that. WHAM chit-chat. Look at the clock its 1:53am. Wondering where the day went!
Blog a bit….and off to bed.

Hours spent with my daughter: 24 (minus the bit at her great-grandmother’s house)
